A tv stand usually does one job: hold the tv. This one does three. Closed cabinets on the sides hide the cables and clutter, open shelves in the middle hold books and bowls, and the top carries a plant and a short stack of books. The record player sits next to it on its own stand. Here is the wall piece by piece — six that earned a place, and one that did not.

Closed on the sides, open in the middle. The cabinet doors hide everything that looks messy. The open centre shows only what was chosen to be seen. That split is why a stand this full still looks calm.
The tv hangs on the wall, not on the stand. That frees the whole surface for styling and keeps the screen at eye level from the sofa. The stand stops being a tv table and becomes a console.
Every material is soft or warm. Rustic wood, cream ceramic, a wood bead garland, a knit throw, sheer curtains. Nothing shiny next to the black screen, so the tv reads as one dark shape instead of the centre of the room.
The order matters when putting it together. Mount the tv first. Stand second, centred under the screen. Shelves styled last, with space left on every one.

Thick cream knit, thrown over the ottoman edge. It is the softest thing in the room and the closest thing to the camera, so it sets the tone before the tv wall does.
Chunky knit catches on everything. Worth keeping it clear of the velcro on a remote cover or a jacket.

The record player on the open middle shelf was the obvious first spot. Everything in one piece of furniture, tidy and together. It lost for two reasons: the lid had no room to open under the shelf above, and every bump on the console would have reached the needle. A small stand of its own fixed both and freed the shelf for books and bowls. The trade is one more piece on the floor.
